Sega co-COO yawns at P2E video games
The co-chief working officer of Sega has referred to as play-to-earn video games “boring” amid the agency’s retreat from franchising a few of its hottest properties to the blockchain gaming area.
Bloomberg reported on July 6 that Shuji Utsumi, the co-COO of the gaming firm behind Sonic The Hedgehog, stated Sega would shelve plans to develop blockchain video games for now.
