Commissioner Hester Pierce of the USA Securities and Trade Fee (SEC) has raised considerations in regards to the company’s current assertion advising accounting corporations towards taking up non-audit work for crypto corporations.
In a July 28 tweet, Pierce challenged the current assertion by the SEC’s chief accountant Paul Munter, proposing that accounting corporations undertake an all-or-nothing strategy of their dealings with crypto corporations. Pierce believes this would possibly trigger crypto corporations to draw back from making good-faith efforts to be clear.
