    Exploits, hacks and scams stole nearly $1B in 2023: Report

    Malicious actors concentrating on the crypto house have taken greater than $45 million in digital property from their victims within the month of August alone and a complete of $997 million year-to-date (YTD), in response to a report shared by the blockchain safety agency CertiK.

    Within the report, CertiK highlighted that exit scams took round $26 million, flash mortgage assaults took $6.4 million and exploits took $13.5 million from their victims in August 2023. The cybersecurity agency confirmed that the entire losses amounted to over $45 million.
