A former senior government at Binance has filed a lawsuit towards the corporate’s UK part for unfair dismissal after elevating issues about an alleged bribe.
Amrita Srivastava stated that she was unfairly dismissed after bringing the matter to administration. In response to Srivastava, a colleague had solicited bribes from a buyer “beneath the guise of offering consultative providers,” studies Bloomberg.
Srivastava alleges that she was dismissed from her place at Binance a month after she informed her managers concerning the bribery in April 2023. Nevertheless, based on Binance’s lawyer, Srivastava was dismissed resulting from “poor efficiency.”
In a press release, the lawyer stated:
“The choice to finish her employment for poor efficiency pre-dated issues she raised about a problem that was already identified and beneath investigation by our inside audit group.”
